The Sallie Mae Fund's Bridging the Dream Scholarship Program

The Sallie Mae 2025-2026 Bridging the Dream Scholarship Program for High School Seniors (“Contest”) is open only to legal residents (U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551) of the fifty (50) United States, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia who

  •  are currently enrolled as a high school senior;
  • plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school within one year of high school graduation;
  • are able to demonstrate financial need by being Pell Grant-eligible,
  • have a current cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher
  • are able to demonstrate leadership abilities,
  • demonstrate good moral character in all aspects of his/her life, including personal, professional, educational, in his/her community, and online presence in accordance with these official rules: https://tmcf.org/scholarships/

Jay Sartini Memorial Scholarship Presented by AcBE

Requirements:

  • Minimum GPA: 3.0
  • Business or Entrepreneurial Degree
  • Senior graduating from an Ashtabula County high school or second-year Kent State Ashtabula business student
  • One-page letter of request explaining why they believe they deserve the award
  • Two (2) letters of recommendation
  • Student Aid Report
  • Record of community services

Ursuline Sisters Scholars

Requirements:

  • Income below 200% of the poverty level
  • Student academic program must be Pell Grant eligible.
  • Education: Cumulative GPA of 2.0 if currently enrolled in a post-secondary program. Cumulative High School GPA of 2.5 if graduated in the last 2.5 years
  • Enrolled in an approved program of study if attending a technical school
