RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY

Fred Larson Radiologic Technology Memorial Scholarship

Requirements:

  • Must be a student enrolled in the Radiologic Technology program at Kent State University at Ashtabula
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • $500 will be awarded to each of two recipients who meet the minimum scholarship criteria - one will be a first-year student, and one will be a second-year student.
  • Students must reapply each year of the program to be eligible for the scholarship.

Florence Allen Scholarship

Requirements:

  • United States citizen and Ohio resident
  • A woman who will graduate or has graduated from an Ohio high school or who has received a GED from the Ohio Board of Education prior to July 1, 2021
  • Pursuing their first undergraduate degree or certificate
  • Undergraduates who meet the above criteria and are enrolled as full-time students at an accredited degree granting institution recognized by a state Board of Regents.
  • Non-Traditional Students must be at least 30 years of age as of April 1, 2021. They must meet all of the requirements as Traditional Students but do not need to be attending school full time.

Paul Felden Memorial Scholarship, Inc.

This endowed scholarship fund has been created to honor Paul Felden, whose time as a nurse ended much too soon. Although it was a difficult job at times, Paul loved being a nurse. He sacrificed much to be of service to others, however, it gave him a sense of purpose, identity and pride.

Requirements:

  • Women of any age and nationality, pursuing an information technology (IT) degree at an accredited university/college/institute
  • Outstanding academic recording during their academic studies, including in information technology subjects
  • Demonstrated initiative, ambition and commitment to pursuing an IT career
  • Enrolled in at least the second year of an undergraduate program at the time the application is submitted
  • Applicants must be in school at the time the scholarship funds are disbursed and must not graduate before April 2022.
