Biography
I have been a full-time nursing faculty member at Kent State University East Liverpool campus for almost 20 years. I have nine years experience as a school nurse and additionally as a Med-Surg/Ortho/Bariatric and in-patient pediatric experience. I have certifications in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing from the Cleveland Clinic program and completed the Diabetic Educator Course with Cleveland State University. My volunteer experience includes: Power Hour student assistance at EL campus, reading program (3rd grade) at EL Elementary School. Also, ONA blood pressure screening at the Canfield Fair (annually). Current member of the Medical Reserve Corp for our tri-county region, am an OSU Extension Ohio Master Gardener, and volunteer at Beech Creek Botanical Gardens and Education Center.
