Kent State University is a Military Friendly institution and awards college credit for basic military training, military courses and military occupations. All eligible credits must be recognized by the American Council on Education (ACE), which recommends appropriate credit hours to be awarded. We honor all ACE credit recommendations and also honor the State of Ohio Military Transfer Assurance Guide (MTAG) equivalencies as well.

Yes, Kent State University will accept all non-remedial courses from Notre Dame College at the undergraduate and graduate levels for college credit. Kent State will determine the applicability of these credits to specific program requirements upon admission.
