Spring temperatures have finally arrived. These past few days, we have enjoyed seeing students spending time outside, some with their blankets spread out on Manchester Field to lay on and read, study or rest, while others toss a ball or roller skate on Risman Plaza.
According to U.S. News & World Report, some employers still favor traditional program graduates over those with a fully online degree. But the report also notes that online degree programs are gaining acceptance, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic. Kent State University is already among 2023’s Best Online Programs, and those programs are working hard to continue changing the conversation about online degrees and demonstrating their value. When Flash’s Food Pantry opened a few months ago on the Salem Campus, support for the project was immediate.
