Preparing your FlashPItch Workshop

The Division of Graduate Studies is hosting its second FlashPitch competition – a 90-second elevator pitch competition for graduate students. Participants will gain experience in:

  • Presenting your research to an interdisciplinary audience.

  • Developing critical elevator pitch skills in order to clearly communicate your research in networking situations, at conferences and in the job market.

  • Delivering a pitch on your research agenda or research interests.

Black Kings: The Danger of Complacency (Trivia & Discussion)

The College of Arts & Sciences will be partnering with the Male Empowerment Network (M.E.N.) to host a celebration of black history, excellence, and achievement at KSU and nationwide through fun and competitive trivia partnered with an engaging discussion entitled Black Kings: The Danger of Complacency. Two $150 book scholarships will be awarded to trivia winners! Expect a guest speaker, as well. All are welcome to attend.
