Kent State competes in Campus Race to Zero Waste for 15th year

Get ready to reduce, reuse and then recycle in February and March! Kent State is competing in Campus Race to Zero Waste, an international waste reduction and recycling competition for colleges and universities. Everyone’s collective actions on campus—reducing, reusing and recycling—prevent waste from going into landfills and contribute to Kent State's Campus Race to Zero Waste standings.

The Division of People, Culture and Belonging, Employee Wellness and the Student Recreation and Wellness Center would appreciate your input regarding current health and wellness initiatives at Kent State University. Survey results will be used to assess employee’s health and wellness-related needs and to continue building a well-rounded employee health and wellness program.

Funding

The Student Venture Funds were established to help support student-initiated businesses that have been approved by the John S. and Marlene J. Brinzo Center for Entrepreneurship. The Venture Assessment Grant is geared toward students with a proposed business while the Venture Growth Grant is intended for students that have a completed business plan, feasibility analysis and are committed to launching the venture.
