Biography
I have been a faculty member at Kent State University College of Nursing since 2003, predominantly in the MSN Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and MSN Nurse Educator concentrations. I am the coordinator of the Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner concentration. Graduates of this program have maintained a 100% pass rate on the national certification exam for the past several years.
I have served on several committees and task forces within the College of Nursing. I am interested in educating students in ways that are meaningful and applicable to practice. Other interests include literacy, particularly health literacy for children and their families.
