Political Science Club

Welcome to Kent State University's Political Science Club's homepage!

Dr. Joshua Stacher's discussion on "Democratization in Egypt ... and Islamophobia," on the eve of Mubarak's resignationThe Political Science Club is a student organization focused on the interests and pursuits of undergraduates interested in politics. The club organizes discussions, forums, and special events. The organization also works to foster a sense of community among students, particularly for political science/international relations majors and minors, and is open to students of all majors.

The PSC gives students exposure to the different types of career opportunities that are available to those studying political science and international relations. Guest speakers, and particularly alumni of our program, talk to student about post-graduate opportunities, career paths, and the job hunt process. We also travel to Washington, D.C., where students meet with government officials who hire for various level positions to learn about the government hiring process, the variety of jobs available, and planning for a career in government.

For more information about when the next Political Science Club meeting will be held or for a copy of the Kent State Political Science Club Constitution, please contact Professor Julie Mazzei at jmazzei@kent.edu.

Club meetings and activities are also posted on our Facebook page.
