Psychologists consider how both biological processes and environmental influences can account for behavior. The Department of Psychological Sciences at Kent State University offers a unique program that prepares undergraduates for both professional and research oriented paths.

  • Graduate Programs

    Graduate Programs

    The Department of Psychological Sciences offers a PhD in Psychological Science and a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Within the Psychological Science PhD program, tracks include Behavioral Neuroscience, Cognitive/Cognitive Development, and Social-Health. The Clinical Psychology PhD program, which has been continuously accredited by the American Psychological Association since 1968, allows specialization in adult psychopathology, assessment, child clinical, clinical health psychology, and general clinical psychology. Students in all areas can also earn a minor in quantitative methods.
