School of Theatre and Dance Presents "B.F.A. Senior Dance Concert/Student Dance Festival"

Throughout the semester, School of Theatre and Dance students, faculty, and staff have worked to find innovative and creative ways to bring performance and design to life amidst a global pandemic, taking choreography and storytelling into the virtual world. 

The School of Theatre and Dance's continues its virtual 2020-2021 mainstage season with the pre-recorded B.F.A. Senior Dance Concert/Student Dance Festival (BFA/SDF). Performances of the concert, titled "Revision," are April 23-25, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. Admission to view the stream is FREE, but reservations are required.

Directed by Kent State dance faculty member Samuel McIntosh, the BFA/SDF: Revision concert features performance and choreography by B.F.A. Dance Performance candidates Maggie Busch and Elyza Morckel and by dance students Mathew Blasio, Niarra Gooden-Clarke, Kira Ruffin, and Victoria Smith. A piece choreographed by guest artist Elyse Morckel is also included in the concert. 

The BFA/SDF: Revision production team includes lighting design by associate professor Jakyung C. Seo, stage management by Granger Cavanaugh, and sound design by assistant professor Nicholas Drashner. Video editing is by Kent State University Teleproductions, coordinated by Shane Roach.
