Kent State Ashtabula Celebrates 66th Commencement Ceremony

Kent State University at Ashtabula held its 66th Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 12, 2017 to conclude both the spring semester and the 2016-17 academic year.  Over 140 students earning their associate's, bachelor's or master's degrees were honored during the ceremony, held in the Main Hall Gymnasium.  

Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies degree recipient Richard Lucas Slusher was the student speaker while local attorney and community activist Richard L. Dana, Esq., delivered the keynote commencement address.  In addition, the recipients of the Roger T. Beitler Distinguished Former Student and Ashtabula Area College Committee, Inc. Community Service Award were also recognized and honored.
