CAE Safety Conference

The annual Safety Conference hosted by Kent State University's College of Aeronautics and Engineering and the Kent State University's Precision Flight Team connects students and aeronautics industry experts in an evening event of lecture, discussion, and Q&A.

Please join us for our annual Safety Conference, connecting students and aeronautics industry experts in an all-day networking event filled with lectures and Q&A sessions. The speaker sessions are constructed to bring together varying experiences with aviation safety to provide many perspectives on the importance of aviation safety. 

This year's Safety Conference will be held Friday, April 19 from 10:00am - 6:00pm in the Aeronautics and Engineering Building.

Our guest speaker will be Greg Feith, former Senior Air Safety Investigator with the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).

The focus of the lectures will be on aviation safety and automation.  Students, aviation enthusiasts and the general public will learn about aeronautics and engineering job safety from industry professional and real-life experiences.  

This event is managed by Kent State University's Precision Flight Team.

This event is free and open to the public.
