The Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies is a liberal arts program that exposes students to the design process and prepares them to be active, well-rounded contributors to society.
Emily Stood is a 2nd year Architectural Studies major with minors in Historic Preservation, History, and Scene Design from the Chicago area.
The College of Architecture and Environmental Design employs three professional academic advisors that serve as advocates for students in the College, and work individually with you throughout your academic career at Kent State University. The advisors within the CAED are experts on the curricular requirements for each of the undergraduate programs in the College as well as the vast structure of resources, events, and opportunities available through the University that will enrich your student experience and improve your success.
Please join us in touring the 117,000 square foot LEED Platinum John Elliot Center for Architecture and Environmental Design with Dean Mistur. In this guided tour, you will learn more about our studio spaces, the materials library, our reading room, the fabrications lab, and our digital output lab, among other resources within our building.
