The Slates South property is approximately 25 acres and is located east of Powder Mill Road and southwest of the Slates North property in Franklin Township in Portage County, Ohio. This site is within the Cuyahoga watershed and consists of mixed hardwood forest, various open water/vernal ponds and wet areas, a maintained mowed grass area by the power company located along the northern boundary line, and a creek near the southwest corner of the property.
