Property Description:
The White Hall Terrace property is approximately 15 acres and is located north of Summit Road and east of Rhodes Road in Franklin Township in Portage County, Ohio. This site borders the Battaglia property along the eastern property line, is adjacent to the Kent State radio station to the west, and is within the Cuyahoga watershed. A majority of the property consists of tall grassy open areas with small trees and shrubs scattered throughout. The area is easy to navigate through with most of it mowed and maintained by KSU. Planted pine/spruce trees can be found in the southeastern area of the property. There are also two wetlands, one of which is located north of the large pond on the eastern side of the property. There is a small, wooded overlook/observing pier as well.
