Printing for Honors College Students

Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Extended Library/Print Hours Monday – Thursday 5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

The Honors College offers free printing to all Honors College students during regularly scheduled  business hours. Extended hours vary. All university closures and holidays will be observed and the printing lab will be closed. Printing is also closed for the weekend beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday. Students will be notified via text and email if unplanned closures occur.

Locating the Honors College Entrance

The Honors College is in the lower level of Stopher Hall. Stopher-Johnson is a residence complex located on Janik drive. Parking on Janik Dr. is restricted to R7 pass holders with limited metered parking. The Honors College entrance is located at the lower level near the Commons just below Taylor Hall. The upper level entrance is restricted to residents of the dormitory and authorized staff with keycard access. All guests and non-authorized faculty, staff, or students must enter through the lower level door (indicated by a blue star in the header image below) The door is unlocked during regular office and extended study/lab hours.

Printing Guidelines

  • Printing is for active Honors College students only
  • Printing is accessible from the provided desktops and paper is provided
  • Students must sign in to one of the provided desktops using their FlashLine username and password 
  • Students may copy documents to reprint by scanning the document to email and printing from the desktop
  • Black and white printing is the default setting.
  • Students should approach the Honors College lobby desk or the lab assistant to report issues or ask for assistance.

Printing in Color

  • Print Using the System Dialogue (CTRL + ALT + P) or select the printer icon, more settings, and click the link "Print Using the System Dialogue"
  • Select Preferences
  • Locate Xerox Black and White and select Off (Use Document Color) 
  • Click OK
  • Click Apply
  • Click Print
