Allen Endowment
Florence Allen Scholarships are awarded annually by The Allen Endowment to provide Ohio women with the opportunity to achieve their full potential through education. The 2024-2025 application deadline is available Feb. 21 - April 30, 2024.
College Now
College Now offsets the high cost of college tuition by awarding renewable, need-based scholarships to students across Northeast Ohio. The 2024-2025 application deadline is March 27, 2024.
Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley
The Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley is now accepting scholarship applications for 2024. Online submissions are due by end of day on March 1, 2024, and award/declination notifications will be provided to applicants by the end of June 2024.
Reminder! Students only have to complete one application to be considered for multiple scholarship opportunities. Based on the applicant’s responses to a set of standard questions, CFMV’s system will determine which scholarships the applicant is eligible for. The applicant will be immediately notified of which scholarships they will be considered for, and may be prompted to provide additional information necessary for certain scholarships. This has dramatically cut down the time students spend completing forms and ensures they are being considered for all opportunities they are eligible for.

Mercy Health Foundation Nursing Scholarships
As the largest employer in the Mahoning Valley, Mercy Health Youngstown is vital to our local economy. Through inpatient, outpatient, home health and palliative care services, among others, Mercy Health is delivering healthcare with state-of-the-art technology and through the hands and hearts of a dedicated, skilled workforce. The Mercy Health Foundation Mahoning Valley connects this level of care to those in our community who need it most. Out To Protect offers four scholarship and grant programs that are all funded by generous gifts from our donors. Richard T. Naples, Sr. Education Foundation Scholarship
Richard T. Naples Sr. and his family own and operate three fireworks stores located in Niles, Hubbard, and Canton, Ohio. They have established a scholarship program to help young adults defray a portion of higher education costs. The 2024-2025 application deadline is March 31, 2024.
Nordson BUILDS
The mission of Nordson BUILDS is to attract and develop a diverse, highly-skilled talent pool for careers in the manufacturing industry. Scholarship recipients will be considered for available internship opportunities with Nordson Corporation. These scholarships are targeted at individuals whose permanent residence or postsecondary institution is near a Nordson facility and/or attend a college targeted by Nordson for employment. To be considered, applicants must be pursuing a major in manufacturing, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), or business disciplines, and demonstrate how their area of study prepares them for a career in manufacturing. Scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $10,000 will be awarded to students planning to enroll or already enrolled in an accredited public or private not-for-profit postsecondary institution.The 2024-2025 application deadline is May 15, 2024.
Thomas J. Seefred Trust
The Thomas J. Seefred Trust is a perpetual fund that will award scholarships up to $3,000 each to college students between 18-25 years of age who are suffering from Juvenile Diabetes. Preference is given to qualified applicants from Trumbull, Mahoning, and Columbiana Counties in Ohio. The 2024-2025 application deadline is June 1, 2024.
Seven Seventeen Credit Union Scholarships
Seven Seventeen Credit Union offers scholarships for post-secondary education to graduating high school seniors who have an account at Seven Seventeen or are the legal dependent of a Seven Seventeen member or are members of Seven Seventeen's cha-ching Teen Club or the edge young adult program. Trumbull County Disabled Americans Veterans Chapter #11 Scholarship Fund
The Trumbull County Disabled American Veterans Chapter #11 is awarding two (2) individual undergraduate scholarships of one thousand dollars ($1,000) each to help defer the cost of higher education for a Disabled American Veteran's family. These scholarships will be to attend Kent State University at Trumbull or Youngstown State University. The 2024-2025 application deadline is Dec. 31, 2024
