Student Accessibility Services

The mission of Student Accessibility Services (SAS) is to provide assistance to students with varying degrees and types of disabilities in order to enhance their academic potential and to minimize any physical and attitudinal barriers they might encounter at the university.  Kent State University Regional campuses are committed to improving access to all aspects of university life.

Types of disabilities of students who receive services through Student Accessibility Services include but are not limited to:

  • Chronic health and medical disabilities
  • Hearing disabilities
  • Mobility impairments
  • Physical disabilities
  • Psychological/psychiatric disabilities
  • Specific learning disabilities
  • Specific learning disabilities
  • Temporary disabilities
  • Visual disabilities

To be considered for services offered by the SAS office, students must first submit a form providing pertinent information. Please choose one of the following:
