LinkedIn Learning Update

There will be an important change to the university’s agreement with LinkedIn Learning. Effective May 28, 2025, student access will be discontinued. LinkedIn access will be changed to faculty and staff only.

Students will be informed of the change and encouraged to complete any ongoing courses and/or download LinkedIn Learning certificates prior to May 28th.

Faculty & Staff Access

LinkedIn Learning is a valuable learning tool, and we are excited to continue this service for employees looking to expand their skills. We encourage employees and supervisors to explore ways LinkedIn Learning can benefit individuals and teams.

We recognize that some faculty may have leveraged LinkedIn Learning for instructional purposes. The decision to change the agreement was not taken lightly. Faculty and staff will continue to have full access and may still use LinkedIn Learning content in the classroom setting (e.g., showing videos during lectures). However, please note that students will no longer be able to access content independently outside the in-person classroom environment.

Instructional Support

Support is available for faculty to update course materials and find alternatives.
