Kent State Trumbull’s Nursing Students Launch ‘Walk and Talk with a Nurse’ Program

Nursing students at Kent State Trumbull are putting their best foot forward, hoping to promote healthy lifestyles in the Mahoning Valley.

Members of Kent State Trumbull’s Student Nurses Association recently launched the ”Walk and Talk with a Nurse” program at the Niles Wellness Center. From 9-11 am on the second and fourth Monday of every month, students will join members of the Wellness Center to participate in a variety of physical activities. During the activities, members are encouraged to talk and ask questions about health and activity.

“The health and wellness of our community are so important to us,” said Taylor Stull, vice president, Kent State Trumbull’s SNA. “This is a great way for us to stay active in our community, meet great people, and do our part to promote healthy lifestyles.”
