College of Architecture and Environmental Design Named for John Elliot

On April 11, 2019, the College of Architecture and Environmental Design was officially named, "The John Elliot Center for Architecture and Environmental Design." John Elliot, 1970 graduate, and his wife Fonda were honored at the dedication ceremony. Hundreds of students, faculty, staff, family and friends of the Elliots came to Kent State to celebrate and commemorate the occasion.

For more than 20 years, John and Fonda Elliot have been supporters of the Kent State architecture program. Their generosity and dedication to the program earned them a unanimous vote from the Board of Trustees to re-name the building in their honor. They have given back in so many ways and their contributions have not gone unnoticed.

Read more about the dedication ceremony and the tremendous contributions the Elliots have made to Kent State University.
