Six Kent State Students Chosen to Compete at Wilsonart Competition

Every year, Wilsonart sponsors a Student Chair Competition. This year, students from Kent State University were chosen to compete. They were tasked with designing a chair with the theme of "the future" while using parametric design as a tool for expression. The students exhibited their chairs at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York City. The winning chair was, "Assembly" by Kent State student Greg Genter (pictured below). The other Kent students were runner-ups, including Jessica Petrosky, Stephanie Whitman, Justin Krzemien, Kathryn Wills and Curtis Swan (all pictured below). It was an honor to be the featured university at this year's competition.
