Kent State University at Trumbull is again one of Nation’s Top Military Friendly® Schools

Kent State University at Trumbull has again been named Military Friendly®. The campus is one of the schools having a mission of making life better for veterans and their spouses by setting the standard for higher education institutions to provide positive opportunities.

Military Friendly® is the military ratings division of VIQTORY, a service-disabled, veteran-owned business that also serves as the publisher of G.I. Jobs and Military Spouse. Military Friendly rates companies and colleges based on their programs to recruit and retain military veterans as both employees and students.

“All of us at Kent State Trumbull are proud of this designation,” Nicolette Fenlock, assistant director of Enrollment Management & Student Services said. “We are fortunate in this area to have the Youngstown Air Reserve Station and Camp James A. Garfield and we want to do our best to serve the men and women on these bases.”

Fenlock is Kent State Trumbull's Veteran Affairs Certifying Official overseeing the application process from beginning to successful completion.

Kent State Trumbull joins the Kent Campus who received a bronze-level status, meaning it scored within 30 percent of the 10th best school in its category, and Kent State Tuscarawas campus who was also named Military Friendly®.
