Spring 2019 President's and Dean's list in Text

Dr. Angela Spalsbury, Dean of Kent State University at Geauga and Regional Academic Center in Twinsburg, announced those students named to the Spring 2019 President’s and Dean’s lists.  To qualify for the President’s List, students must have a 4.0 grade point average and must have completed 15 hours during the semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a 3.40 or greater grade point average and must have completed 12 or more credit hours for the semester. Fire in the Heartland: Kent State, May 4th, and Student Protest in America is a documentary film about a generation of young people, who stood up to speak their minds against social injustice in some of our nation’s most turbulent and transformative years, the 1960s through the 1970s. On May 4th, 1970, thirteen of these young Americans were shot down by the National Guard in a shocking act of violence against unarmed students.
