Instead of heading home to relax following the conclusion of finals week, a group of Kent State University student-athletes traveled to Aguacate, Belize, to partner with Courts for Kids on a service project from May 16-24. Fourteen Kent State students participated in an eight-day study abroad trip to Greece sponsored by the university’s School of Theatre and Dance during the spring break in 2017. The program, described as an experience of “Theatre, Performance, Gender and Sexuality,” was led by faculty members Daniel Nadon and Yuko Kurahashi.
