JUDICIAL ADVOCATES

Judicial Advocates are students like you who assist fellow students who are going to a Student Conduct Hearing. They help the accused Student understand both the process of the hearing and the possible sanctions. If requested, the advocate may be present during the student conduct hearing. At the hearing the advocate can only advise the student on what he or she should say or do.

If you would like information about using Judicial Advocate services, or becoming a Judicial Advocate, you may e-mail the Undergraduate Student Government (USG) Director of Student Advancement, Brandon Taylor at btaylo58@kent.edu or call the USG office at 330-672-3207, visit the KSU USG website, or stop by their office in Kent Student Center (KSC 75) to make an appointment.

If you wish to be paired with a Judicial Advocate, please fill out the Judicial Advocate Request Form.

For students accused of gender / sexual harassment, for information about the student conduct process and support services, the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students may be a resource.  Appointments may be made by calling 330-672-4050.
