Sally Cahur, ’57, established the Nancy Samhric Scholarship in Music to honor her sister who had a passion for music, and to support Kent State students’ quest to expand their artistic talents.
Mac McFarland and his son, David, formed a bond over aviation and service. Years later, that bond is honored by a scholarship endowed to honor David and to make immediate and lasting impacts on the lives of Kent State students.
“We are grateful that the Stevens family’s tremendous support will enable us to provide additional scholarship opportunities in order to put ‘Students First’ in all we do,” said Kent State President Beverly Warren.
