Kent State University professor of art, Jennifer Jones, hopes to engage and inspire a community and Kent State students though planned murals within The Summit County Department of Job and Family Services building in Akron.

Art has the power to change the world. Kent State University faculty member Chris Coles aspires to use the arts to make a powerful impact on social injustice and violence in our communities.

“With the support of the Roe Green Foundation, the university will continue to serve Roe’s vision and honor her legacy with creative excellence,” said John Crawford-Spinelli, dean of the College of the Arts at Kent State.

Thanks to the benevolence of others, friends and family can now have a seat on a swing beside Rockwell Hall, and quietly reflect on fallen Kent State fashion major, Taylor Pifer, who had a tremendous impact on their lives.

More Golden Flashes than ever before participated in Kent State's 10th annual Alumni Day of Service, making a tremendous difference in their communities across the country.

EHHS scholarships benefitting science and math students, endowed by Bill and Trudy Ausfahl, will financially support students’ ability to attend Kent State in perpetuity. But their support is also having a lasting impact on the scholarship recipients’ future purpose as well.
