Campus Priorities

As we look to the future, Kent State Trumbull is focused on key priorities that will better position our students, faculty and staff for continued success:
- Scholarships - Students who are ready to learn should not be prevented from doing so because of financial obstacles. More than 80 percent of our students qualify for financial aid. In addition, nearly 50 percent of the student population is of non-traditional age. Many students are juggling the additional demands of maintaining a job and raising a family. Scholarship support is often a determining factor between staying in school and dropping out. You can support our students through a variety of scholarships.
- Rising Scholars - In collaboration with Inspiring Minds, the Rising Scholars Program helps young, first-generation students in Warren City Schools create their own idea of success and be confident in who they are becoming. Through peer mentoring, the program supports these youth in preparing for college and careers after high school and seeks to unleash their full potential. Your gift will support the hiring of mentors, program activities and scholarships.
- Nursing - The healthcare industry is the largest source of employment in the Mahoning Valley. Kent State Trumbull is training future generations of nurses by offering a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree that can be fully completed on our campus. Students fulfill their clinical requirement at local healthcare facilities and become part of the local workforce upon graduation. Your gift can support our state-of-the-art nursing lab or scholarships for local students.
