Flashline Login Help

1. Click on “FlashLine Login” at the top of your screen (Firefox or Google Chrome browsers are recommended). 
2. Enter the FlashLine User Name provided to you in your acceptance letter (enclosed). 
3. Your initial password contains information that only you know.

The format for your initial 10-character password is: mmmyyxxxxx  (all lower case)
        
        mmm:                First three letters of your birth month (ex. April = apr)
        yy:                        Last two digits of your birth year
        xxxxx:                Last five digits of your Kent State ID Number

        EXAMPLE:
        Name:                                 Joseph R. Student
        User Name:                        jstudent
        Date of Birth:                     June 30, 1985
        Kent State ID Number:    810116812
        Initial Password:              jun8516812

• After logging in, you will be prompted to change your password. You will need to answer three security questions.   After that, you will be prompted for a new password. Your new password must contain at least eight characters, using a combination of upper and lower case letters and numbers. Note that your FlashLine password is case sensitive.
• Once you click “Submit,” you will be presented with a “Success” dialogue box. Click “OK” and you will be logged directly into FlashLine.
