NETWORKING FOR GOOD at KENT STATE’S MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY:

Friday, October 22 │ 1:00 – 3:00pm

Join the Kent State University College of Business Administration for an afternoon of networking and volunteering as part of National Make A Difference Day on, Friday, October 22, 2021 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm in the Center for Undergraduate Excellence (CUE) #141 & #143.

"Networking for Good: Connecting to Make A Difference" is a collaboration between Community Engaged Learning and College of Business Administration for students and employer partners to meet and connect to build relationships, explore career options, engage in experiential interviewing conversations, all while working together as part of the national Make A Difference Day initiative to support local elementary schools and early learning centers here in Portage County via the United Way's Literacy Kit program.

The United Way of Portage County knows that by making reading fun, we can encourage more kids to read and improve early grade reading and long term in school success rates. That is why United Way has developed Literacy Kits. United Way Literacy Kits are fun and interactive activities paired with favorite children’s books. United Way volunteers help design and build the kits which are then distributed to kids at local schools and early learning centers.

We hope you will join us and network for good!

Attire for this event is smart casual.
