Kent State University's Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) curriculum allows students to take business courses from the start. Undergraduate students can select from 10 major and 14 minor academic fields in the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship. The college also offers a professional Sales Certificate program

ACCOUNTING MAJOR

The Accounting program was crafted to provide you with a solid foundation of knowledge necessary to gain entry-level accounting positions. The degree builds a foundation in practice and theory by working towards an understanding of common concepts, conventions, principles and theories. You will have the skills necessary to attain positions as certified public accountants, controllers, industrial accountants, institutional accountants and governmental accountants.

BUSINESS ANALYTICS MAJOR

The Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Analytics provides students with understanding of the diverse knowledge they need to be effective business data analysts. The focus of the major is to develop students who will understand and be able to apply business analytics to real-world problems. Graduates from the program will be in demand for entry-level analytics positions in the workforce.

GENERAL BUSINESS MAJOR

The Bachelor of Business Administration in General Business is for students who desire an in-depth understanding of all business areas rather than a specialized area of business, i.e., accounting, business management, computer information systems, economics, entrepreneurship, finance, managerial marketing and marketing. The major courses are offered face-to-face and/or online, thus enabling flexibility for students.

HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT MAJOR

The Human Resource Management program prepares students for leadership positions in human resource departments by imparting them with the ability to identify, analyze and solve complex, human-resource-management issues and to develop transformational work environments. Students are provided with the tools needed to master compensation and benefits, human resource planning, training and development, performance management, staffing, analyzing and designing jobs, analytics and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, global human resource management and employee relations.
