Center for Undergraduate Excellence (CUE)

A collaboration between Community Engaged Learning and College of Business Administration for students and employers to build relationships and explore career options while working together as part of the national Make A Difference Day. Our project together will support local elementary schools and early learning centers here in Portage County via the United Way's Literacy Kit program. The United Way of Portage County knows that by making reading fun, we can encourage more kids to read and improve early grade reading and long term in school success rates. Volunteers will help design and build the kits which are then distributed to kids at local schools and early learning centers. To participate in the “Networking for Good: Connecting to Make a Difference” event, please email to Michelle Adkins at madkins12@kent.edu with interest.
