Steve Riczo holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Hiram College and Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Xavier University. He has over 30 years of diverse business and senior healthcare management experience that includes hospital administration, medical practice management, business joint ventures and several successful business start-ups including one that served over 1,200 employers in Ohio.
Steve has taught undergraduate and graduate students at several northeast Ohio universities before joining the full-time faculty of Kent State University where he has won four teaching awards including Best Professor Award, Faculty Recognition Award, and the 2018 College of Business Administration Teaching Award. Mr. Riczo is also a regular contributing author to USA Today magazine on healthcare and other public policy issues of national importance. His article on healthcare reform was selected for republication by McGraw-Hill in Health 08-09 as among “the best of the public press” used by colleges and universities around the country.
