Master of Architecture + Master of Business Administration Dual Degree Program

Students interested in a combined professional preparation in Architecture and in Business Administration may apply for admission to the Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) and Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) Dual Degree Program, offered jointly by the College of Architecture and Environmental Design (CAED) and the Graduate School of Management (GSM). This program is designed for architects or undergraduate architectural students who aspire to middle or executive management positions in architectural practices, or who are interested in starting their own business.

Students in the M.Arch. and M.B.A. Dual Degree program must earn at least a total of 64 credit hours, 35 from the M.Arch. program and 29 from the M.B.A. program.

For the M.Arch. and M.B.A., students need to apply to CAED indicating on the application the dual degree option. Each school will make an independent decision and the students will be notified of the decisions made in both programs.

ELIGIBILITY

Must have a pre-professional bachelor degree that is part of a 4+1 or 4+2 NAAB-accredited program to be eligible for the M.Arch portion of this dual degree program.

DUAL DEGREE APPLICATION FEE WAIVER

The application for the M. Arch/MBA dual degree requires two applications.  Apply for the Master of Architecture program first selecting the dual degree option.  After you SUBMIT the M. Arch application, you will receive an email with a fee waiver code for the M. BA program application.
