Bioethics and Health Humanities
- Explore bioethical questions, including challenges of various communities in accessing health care
- Understand expressions of health care concerns in humanities fields
- Students who complete the minor may be considered for admission to the Northeast Ohio Medical University's (NEOMED) Master of Arts or Graduate Certificate in Medical Ethics and Humanities if applying and meeting all admission criteria as set out by NEOMED
- Examine the sociocultural, political and organizational dimensions of health and medicine
- Gain an understanding of the social determinants of health
- Take coursework from multiple disciplines to design a minor that aligns with individual academic and career goals
