Faculty Internal Funding Opportunities 

University Research Council (URC) provides support for scholarly activity, dissemination of research, etc.

University Teaching Council (UTC) provides support for teaching conference grant, teaching development grant, summer teaching development grant, etc.

College of Education, Health and Human Services (EHHS) will pay for conference registration, or provide $500 travel support, if faculty member is presenting internationally.

*College of Education, Health and Human Services (EHHS) provides Seed awards (up to $5000) for full time pre-tenured or tenured faculty to support development of a research agenda.

*EHHS Pre-Tenure Faculty Research Development Award supports scholarly activity in other research locations.  Funding: $1000 for faculty member and if mentor(s) proposed an additional $1000 for the mentor(s).  Last deadline was 5/7/14.

*Farris Family Innovation Fellowship (Provost) provides $8000/year for up to three years; supports innovative, multidisciplinary work among junior faculty members.  

*KSU Foundation awards up to $100K for “projects that have an impact on the quality of education offered” at KSU.  

*These opportunities are provided periodicially and faculty are notified of opportunity via email.
