Life in South Korea

South Korea fuses tradition and technology, making it a fascinating place to study and intern. You’ll be based just an hour outside Seoul and have the opportunity to learn more about fashion’s past and present in South Korea.

Where you'll live

You’ll get the chance to live on campus at Dankook University in two-person rooms with private bathrooms and bedding included. If this style of room is full, the university also offers four-person rooms. You won’t have to pay anything for your accommodation at the university, as Dankook University doesn’t charge exchange students housing fees. For more information on housing, please click here.

  • You will generally be able to withdraw money using your American debit card at ‘Global’ ATMs. These ATMs can usually be found in airports, train stations, and major banks.

Transportation:

  • Kakao maps or Naver maps are popular navigation tools for students studying abroad in South Korea. You can find them on your smartphone’s app store.
