Bryan Thomas is a versatile and well-respected bassist with an active teaching schedule.  He is sought after as a clinician for many educational jazz festivals, is the Bass Professor for Kent State University, and has been on staff for Tri-C Metro Campus, Wooster and Hiram Colleges and Akron University.  His major teachers include Anthony Knight, Scott Haigh and Mark Atherton of the Cleveland Orchestra, and the virtuoso double bass soloist Francois Rabbath.

Mr. Thomas, who received his BM in Bass Performance from Kent State University in 1992, has been an Ohio Arts Council guest artist-in-residence, has toured with the Glenn Miller Orchestra and studied Cuban music in Havana with Carlos Del Puerto and others.  He has performed several solo bass concerts with orchestras and for the International Society of Bassists Competition.  Bryan also  has done a fair amount of professional recording including recordings with his wife, Tina Bergmann, a nationally recognized hammered dulcimer player.  Their website can be found at www.allroadsleadhome.com.
