Fee for Free allows Kent Campus undergraduate students who have paid the Arts Fee to receive one free ticket to performances in Music, Theatre and Dance and other designated arts event. 

Flash Grants are awarded to undergraduate teams working collaboratively on an interdisciplinary project.

Maker Faire Makers across all disciplines, from art and design to technology and science have the opportunity to exhibit and discuss their unique talents in one environment. The Mini Maker Faire is a collaboration of four departments and colleges across campus, and includes makers such as tech enthusiasts, crafters, homesteaders, scientists and garage tinkerers.

Stratosphere is an annual juried art competition for all Kent State University students.

Undergraduate Student Resources are provided by the College of the Arts to support career planning, provide opportunities for student engagement and study away, and tips about working with faculty and making connections with others like you and others different from you.

Technology Hackathon is hosted by the School of Fashion Design and Merchandising and Kent State’s LaunchNet, the Hackathon is a cross-curricular event allowing teams of student participants to create and innovate within the realm of wearable technology. It is presented in partnership with the Kent State Fashion School’s TechStyleLAB and LaunchNET Kent State (formerly Blackstone LaunchPad), which helps students, faculty, staff and alumni turn ideas into thriving businesses.
