Global Management Speaker Series Presented by Citizens Bank Announces Swagelok Chairman and CEO Arthur Anton as Fall Speaker

KENT, Ohio – The Kent State College of Business Administration is pleased to announce Citizens Bank as the presenting sponsor of the 2018-19 Global Management Speaker Series.

Della Ratta also serves as Chair of the Kent State University Board of Trustees.

 

The first event of the series will feature Swagelok Chairman and CEO Arthur Anton at 7 p.m. on Monday, October 8 at the Kent State Hotel & Conference Center. The event is open to the public but registration is required at http://bit.ly/Fall2018GMC.

 

Anton has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Swagelok Company since 2017. In this role, he is responsible for all areas of the business and for executing Swagelok’s strategic vision and devotes attention to coordinating manufacturing, marketing and engineering efforts to ensure Swagelok continually develops products and services to meet the changing needs of customers. He has been with the company since 1998, previously serving as partner and in various accounting and management positions at Ernst & Young.

 

Anton earned a Master of Science degree in finance from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and accounting from City University of New York. He serves on the boards of The Sherwin-Williams Company and Olympic Steel and is chairman of the University Hospitals finance committee.

 

The Global Management Center (GMC) Speaker Series is designed to advance international business education opportunities, advance global research through industry partnerships and provide an international stage for students, faculty and the public to learn and engage in best global business practices.
