Cambodia and Kent State- Topic of New Book

Dr. James A. Tyner, professor of Geography and Dr. Mindy Farmer, director of the May 4 Visitors Center, collaborated to write, Cambodia and Kent State: In the Aftermath of Nixon’s Expansion of the Vietnam War. Described as an introduction to the issues and international context of the Kent State shootings, this book provides background on the activism that proceeded the events at Kent, as well as providing a deeper understanding of Cambodia’s history, the developments and the decisions made by the US government that lead to US involvement, and the aftermath.
