Academic Support Services
Kent State is proud to offer free award-winning academic support services such as tutoring, supplemental instruction, personalized resource lists, and academic coaching sessions. We empower students to become independent learners through our engaging support programs.
Dining
We have 18 on-campus dining options to cater for all meals and dietary preferences. Eating on campus is a highly social experience that gives students the chance to make new friends every day and join ongoing community events celebrating culinary traditions around the world. Many international students also enjoy working on campus in our dining division.
English Language Support
Students who need extra academic support to meet our language requirements or fine-tune their language skills can take English language and culture classes at our ESL Center before entering a degree program.

This year, Black History Month is being celebrated February 1- March 1, 2023. The annual observance reminds us of significant African Americans and how they impacted historical events.
