On Tuesday, April 23, LaunchNET Kent State held its annual Awards & Expo at Ray’s Place, where they highlighted their many partners, students, clients, and events from the 2018-19 academic year. “We wouldn’t be able to do all the great things we do at LaunchNET without our partners across the region and university, so it’s very important for us to take time to recognize them, in addition to our students and clients,” said Julie Messing, executive director of LaunchNET. Kent State University at Salem 2019 BSN Pinning

  Kent State at Salem held its annual nursing convocation and pinning ceremony during which students received their nursing pins and recited the nursing pledge. All are receiving degrees this year through the Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) program on the Salem Campus. In May 2018, Kent State University’s Wick Poetry Center received a $90,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. Since then, the center has been busy strategically planning and implementing the River Stanzas Project in communities around Northeast Ohio.
