Forest of Flash Fellowship
As we continue this season of gratitude with Thanksgiving break this week, there is much to appreciate and none more so relevant than the caring students, faculty and staff we have right here at the Trumbull Campus who make our programs great.
To uplift those in our extended community, we are again growing not just one, but THREE Giving Trees in a Forest of Flash Fellowship across campus.
To honor the partnership of our Vet Tech studies with the Animal Welfare League, a tree in the Technology Building Rotunda features items muchly needed by the four-pawed friends housed there. Please take a tag (or a few!) and drop off corresponding donations at the Reception desk.
To strengthen the support of our Sociology and Criminology students and their campus outreach efforts, the Jurisprudence group is hosting a tree in the Classroom Building Student Union for our own Care Closet.
To highlight the work of our “At Ease” Military & Veteran Resource Center and Mutual Support Team, a tree in the Gelbke Library serves as a drop-off point for Toys for Tots in connection with the United States Marine Corps (Reserve Unit), Youngstown Air Reserve Station. Donations of new, unwrapped toys accepted until December 13.
If you are able, please join us in supporting these wonderful organizations. We appreciate you!
