Scheduled Appointments with your Academic Advisor (30 minutes)

Schedule an advising appointment 

You will be given the option to select your appointment format when scheduling an appointment. 

• In-person appointments will be offered in 202 of Crawford Hall on the Kent campus.  
• Virtual appointments will be done via Microsoft Teams. 

Drop-In Advising for Education Abroad

Our International Programs Office advisors are offering appointments both in-person and virtually. If you have scheduled an in-person appointment, please check in for your appointment in Suite 202 Crawford Hall.

Education Abroad drop-in advising for Fall 2024 through December 12, 2024.

Please visit Suite 202 in Crawford Hall or call 330-672-2872 during these times:

• Tuesday: 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. (Starting  9/3)
• Thursday: 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. (9/5-9/30 & 11/21-12/12)

Undergraduate Business Course Registration Errors

If you received an error while trying to register for a business course, email advisingbus@kent.edu with the following information. Include information from each course.

The following information (except KSU email) can be located on the Add or Drop a Course screen:

1. KSU ID number and KSU email address
2. CRN (Course registration number) – located in the CRN column
3. Course subject - in “Subj” column (Example: ACCT)
4. Course number - 5-digit number in the “Crse” column; this is not the CRN number (Example: 23020)
5. Section number – 3-digit number in the “Sec” column (Example: 004)
6. Course Registration Add Error message. – See “Status” column (Example: Pre-requisite and/or required test score error)

Course Override

If you need to request an override from an advisor prior to registration, please send an email to advisingbus@kent.edu with the information in #1-5 above.
