Allan M. Boike, DPM, FACFAS, Reappointed as Dean of KSUCPM

KSUCPM is proud to announce that following a rigorous review, Allan Boike, DPM, FACFAS, has been reappointed to a second five-year term as dean of the College of Podiatric Medicine, beginning July 1, 2019. The review commended Dr. Boike for his student-focused approach and professionalism in representing CPM to the university and to the community. He was praised for creating a collegial atmosphere, collaboration across the university, and promotion of professional development.

 

 

Dr. Boike began his role as Dean of KSUCPM on July 1, 2014, and has more than 30 years in treating foot and ankle problems, including work at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, where he was in private practice for seven years. Previously, he was an associate professor in the Department of Podiatric Surgery at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and its Cleveland Foot & Ankle Clinic, where he served as the director of the Podiatric Surgical Residency Training Program. Dr. Boike is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and has served as a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Ohio Podiatric Medical Association. He is board certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and has since served the board as an oral examiner and as a member of the written examination committee.

 

 

With his vast experience as a respected podiatric surgeon, as well as his success as dean during his first five-year term, we are excitedly looking forward to Dean Boike’s next five years at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine.
