Karen S. Kellogg, DPM, MBA Appointed Chair to the KSUCPM Advisory Board

Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (KSUCPM) would like to congratulate Dr. Karen Kellogg, who was appointed Chair to the KSUCPM Advisory Board in May of 2018 following her service on the board beginning in 2013. Dr. Kellogg graduated Magna Cum Laude from Siene Heights University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1996 before going on to earn her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the former Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (now KSUCPM) in 2000. Following podiatry school, she completed her two-year surgical residency training at Dunlap Memorial Hospital in Orrville, Ohio. Dr. Kellogg recently earned her Master of Business Administration degree from Kent State University in May, 2018.

Dr. Kellogg serves as an adjunct faculty member at KSUCPM, and is a Past President of the Ohio Foot and Ankle Medical Association. Today, she serves as an Ohio Delegate for the American Podiatric Medical Association, as well as on the OHFAMA Board of Trustees representing the Mideast Academy.

Dr. Kellogg has over 16 years of experience in podiatric medicine with interests in wound care, limb salvage, general podiatry and forefoot surgery. She frequently serves as a guest lecturer at area podiatric conferences. A recognized member of the community, Dr. Kellogg earned the Thomas J. Meyer Award for leadership in 2014, as well as the Young Physician of Podiatry Award from OHFAMA in 2005. In 2016, Dr. Kellogg was honored with the Alumni Service Award from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, and served as the keynote speaker for KSUCPM’s white coat ceremony in 2015.
