Hospitality Management Accreditation
Kent State University’s Hospitality Management program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration (ACPHA) through summer 2024. It is the only four-year program accredited by ACPHA in the state of Ohio.
ACPHA is an accrediting body for hospitality administration programs across the United States, along with several from around the world. Here at Kent State, ACPHA accredits Hospitality Management's bachelor's degree program on a seven-year cycle.
The ACPHA standards focus on the resources and processes (inputs) and the educational outcomes (outputs):
- Mission and Outcomes
- Administration and Governance
- Assurance of Student Learning
- Instructional Resources
- Student Support Services
- Physical and Learning Resources
- Financial Resources
